Few months earlier I received a email with subject "Ammar Afzal, Hum Sharminda Hain" (Ammar Afzal, we are embarrassed) from a good colleague.
Email subject got my attention and when I opened the email, it had an image attachment with the content written in Urdu. This email was about a guy from Okara city of Pakistan, who is so talented and with out of the world abilities in him, that he resolved a critical issue in one of the most famous international bank.
The email states that Mr. Ammar Afzal is a OCP with outstanding performance in marks obtained. I wasn't able to digest it, so I googled him and found no such information as per the contents of email. On my queries on this from my colleagues, they were shocked and feeling sorry on forwarding the email without verification.
Today another colleague showed me a Video on YouTube, in which the same guy was interviewed by the National television channel. He was saying that he has got telephone call from Bill Gates, Yes Bill Gates and he is about to join Microsoft as Managing Director. I was so shocked and again after googling I found no information about that guy whatsoever.
I am so SURPRISED that in Pakistan anyone can get get in and throws any idiotic things from his mouth and we just air it without any authentication.
If you took a simple analysis of both the scenarios for correcting issue in Bank's ATM and being hired at Microsoft, even a 12 year old can come up with questions like this....
1) Does a Multinational bank provide their ATM's software code, server access, scripts to anyone for fixing a bug
2) A OCP with huge talent in DB got hired in Microsoft for OS Windows 9 development.
3) Their are only 49 developers in Microsoft and he is 49th but in terms of work he is # 1, that is just WOW and HOW ???.
4) Bill Gates is calling someone or may be every one who is being hired at Microsoft. (as Mr. Ammar Afzal quoted he got 6 minutes call from Bill Gates)
5) ..... I can go on with this so let everyone use their own imaginations.

Two things .... if some one has exceptional technical skills he's made the technical head of a Technology company not MD....
And I don't get it, as per him he's well versed with DB not Software development .... How can he solve complex software problems?
And you know he forgot to say that Bill Gates have invited him to US but he refused due to his hectic schedule in saving the world ... so Bill must have given him this lucrative offer .... :D
There is no American Bank Allied or Allied Bank of America. What a rubish. The developer of such a critical system remained unable to understand a problem which the local dude has resolved in a giffy. Amazing na!!!!

What! What bullshit is that. It's a crap story. Even Eienstien the most genius of all times can't solve problem in few minutes. This story is full of crap.
I often hear stories like 12 year beak x record and 13 year old y record. Somebody won the world Math's competition at the age of 12 and other crap. If such thing thing happens then why doesn't it come on world media. If Pakistan has such a bunch of talented kids then Pakistan should not living in the dark ages.
... Don't have words to condemn such kind of stupidity... I would call it absolutely ABSURD ...
There might be a whole team working behind creating the whole propaganda otherwise he wouldn't be on National TV! ... or if not... this shows how stupid our National TV management is, airing thing without any proof and validation ....

Don't know this is guys is correct or wrong but one thing for sure he has big support. From the video attached he said he studying in Cambridge University 00:00 to 6:00 which is in US but I don't know any cambridge university which is US (http://www.cam.ac.uk/) and the time he referred not match with UK time as well

Thankyou for spreading this information. I think that this tsunami of young Microsoft professionals form pakistan is a planned public relations campaign. We are not united so the system will not change, unfortunately.
